Monday morning we went in bright and early at 6:30 amto be induced. It was a long day, but by 4:10 pm our little Delia Grace finally came. She weighed in at 7 lbs 11 oz and was 20 inches long. She has lots of dark hair and is absolutely GORGEOUS!! Lorenzo and Claire love her so much, give her tons of kisses, love rubbing her hair and holding her. My sister Kathryn took the kids for us Sunday night through Monday and then again on Tuesday. The kids had a blast at her house. On Monday Lorenzo got bonked in the mouth with a toy lantern and now has a VERY wiggley tooth that he can't wait to pull. On Tuesday, Kathryn brought Claire to us at the hospital because she got smacked in the eye with a board by a little neighbor boy. Luckily her cut didn't need medical attention, just frequent changes of band aids. We came home from the hospital this evening around 5:30 pm. It is so nice to be home. Delia is doing great and is a little love bug!
Daddy and his second little princess!
Proud big brother!

Lorenzo is such a ham and handful, it has been a long 6 years, but it has also flown by so fast! Lorenzo has graduated from Kindergarten and is greatly anticipating the 1st grade. He can't wait to have more recess time and eat lunch at school. I don't think he quite realizes that going to school 6.5 hours verses 2.5 hours doesn't quite classify as more recess! :o)

After nearly 3 months since the accident and 2 weeks in the shop, my van is as good as new! Apparently the autobody shop painted all the pieces before piecing it back together and when they put the new panel on it was off by 1/2 inch so they had to redo everything again. I guess in auto work the saying should be "Measure twice, paint once!" :o) The shop ended up paying for the extra 4 days of car rental for me, so I really don't have anything to complain about!
